This course begins with basic engine fundamentals and manufacturer identification. The focus is on removing a cylinder head and installing a cylinder head, piston and liner assembly, and all 
components. During these procedures, students perform component tests and service the engine and components. Overviews, diagnostics, and servicing of the lubrication system, cooling system, 
air induction/exhaust system, starting aids, turbochargers and charge air coolers, and EGR systems devices round out the course.
