Students will receive instruction in the criteria for selecting the proper tool for a job, whether it is a hand tool or power. The student will then learn how to properly and safely use the tools that are essential to the aviation technician. Students are taught hangar safety, starting of aircraft, directing aircraft for taxi, tying down of aircraft and jacking an aircraft.
