Course Grade
The overall course grade is calculated by taking the total number of points earned, divided by the total possible points in the course.
Example only:

Threaded Discussions
Threaded discussions are worth 50 points each. Each course contains 5 threaded discussions that should be completed weekly. Threaded discussions have a 70% minimum requirement (140/200 or 175/250 points required to pass).
Assignments
Assignments range from 100 points each to 130 depending on the complexity of the assignment.
Final
Each course has a final that makes up a significant portion of the overall class grade. If students do not take the final exam, or do not complete the exam earning a grade of 70 or better, the final will be marked as a 0.
PLEASE NOTE: Assignment submissions for course credit will not be accepted unless they are uploaded properly through the Blackboard assignment submission interface. Assignments submitted through comments will not be accepted.
