MIAT recognizes the importance of avoiding interruptions in training. However, ensuring the safety of our students and employees is of primary importance to the management of MIAT. When considering cancelling classes due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen building issues, management evaluates the current and forecasted weather conditions and well as the current and possible future road conditions. If the decision is made to close the school, the school will make every attempt to communicate this information to students via text messaging and Canvas. MIAT utilizes Everbridge Mass Notification service. Once enrolled, students receive an e-mail invitation to register for the service.
