This course provides a fundamental overview of standard refrigeration theories, including refrigerants, oil, and refrigeration systems. It also covers regulatory policies and procedures, including EPA 608 requirements. Students will also be introduced to the diagnostic procedures for multiple refrigeration systems. This includes a full day of the refrigeration system brazing procedure with an instructor demonstration. The course also includes the diagnostics and servicing of auxiliary power units.
